It’s been 4 days, Dagupan City has been experiencing a strong gusty winds, storm surge and heavy rains. Two (2) days ago, September 29 San Roque Dam opened one (1 ) gate and released water from Dam Reservoir in about 1.5 meters. It’s their pre-emptive measure just in case another typhoon comes in. Today, they opened another gate, also in 1.5 meters and some areas in the Dagupan City has been flooded. Malued District is where I originally lived and neighbors Guilig Street, Malta Village, Tapuac, Lucao have also been flooded due to the water released by San Roque Dam and heavy rainfalls.

PAGASA and DOST reports that Typhoon Quiel is expected to leave PAR tomorrow afternoon leaving damages all over Luzon especially Calumpit Bulacan. It’s been three (3) days have been walked in flooded area in Malued just to check my dogs and other things to avoid from damage. I am living in Bolosan District near the river and have watched the flow as the San Roque Dam released three (3) days ago and it’s quite overwhelming.

Malued

This afternoon October 1, 2011, I took a chance to capture flood situation inside Dagupan City and hoping that this won’t stay long.
